"I promise that if you will keep your journals and records, they will indeed be a source of great inspiration to your families, to your children, your grandchildren, and others, on through the generations. Each of us is important to those who are near and dear to us and as our posterity reads of our life's experiences, they, too, will come to know and love us. And in that glorious day when our families are together in the eternities, we will already be acquainted."

Visiting Teaching handout for Aug 2014

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer.  I know for many of you it is time to get the kids back to school so my idea for this month is very simple.  I just made three tags.  Each tag has an important message about our Savior and his role as Messiah.  I will attach each tag to the stem of a flower and will give a bouquet to each of my sisters.  I thought as I presented each flower I would expound on the message of that tag. You could easily adapt this idea to have just one tag with a quote of your choice.  You could make a fancier tag.  You could attach the tag to a goodie instead of flowers.  I cut mine from double-sided patterned paper from K&Co. and added purchased butterfly stickers.  I inked the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Vintage Photo. If you would like to make the tags I designed, I have included a jpeg for printing and hand cutting, and a Silhouette V3 if you have one of these wonderful machines.

May you be blessed for all the love and care you give.
I would love to know what you think.
