"I promise that if you will keep your journals and records, they will indeed be a source of great inspiration to your families, to your children, your grandchildren, and others, on through the generations. Each of us is important to those who are near and dear to us and as our posterity reads of our life's experiences, they, too, will come to know and love us. And in that glorious day when our families are together in the eternities, we will already be acquainted."

Hanging Hearts Valentine with Clip Hanger

Hi Everyone,

I hope your Christmas holidays were filled with family and fun.  Are you as excited about the new year as I am?  I am ready to go!

Here is my first project of the year.  It is a mini album of hanging hearts.  It is a simple, yet eye-catching project that is easy to do, and you can use your stash.

I used DCWV Haute Pink stack and embellishments from my stash.  I cut my own hearts but you can purchase them pre-cut at craft stores.  My hearts are aprox. 6x6.  I put eyelets in the top of the hearts to accommodate the rings.

And now the fun part -- I used a large paper clip note holder to create the stand to hang the hearts on.  I got my paper clips from the .99 store.  I have seen them on the internet for varying prices too.  I just bent the clip up and the piece that is attached to the bottom, I bent it out to side a little to help compensate for the weight of the project. (see the last picture)

Here are pictures of the finished project.
I hope you can use the clip hanger for your crafting projects, and I hope you are having a great crafting day.

Robyn
