MY FAVORITE QUOTES Mini Album Tutorial

Hi Everyone,

I am here today to share with you a quick, cute, little book that you can keep for yourself or give to someone special.  I call it My Favorite Quotes.  In the sample I made I put a title of My Favorite Scriptures.  Whatever title you give it, it will be certain to be a great addtion to your nightstand or coffee table.

Following is the tutorial with pictures on how to construct the book.  I hope it inspires you.

My Favorite Quotes

This project uses a Bind-it-All, some papers from DCWV Formal Affair Stack, and 2 3/4 x 5 3/4 clear self-stick sleeves.  I printed the title with a light grey background, and used Spellbinders Label 4, and a couple of elements I had laying around.

If you don’t have a Bind-it-All, you could use rings and a standard hole punch.

You can go here to get the sleeve (they call them clear bags with flap seal)

1.    Cover is 3 x 7 1/2, cut out of chipboard and cover with patterned paper.  I just cut the paper the same size as the chipboard, then sanded and inked with Ranger Black Soot Distress Ink.

2.   Punch with Bind-it-All

3.   Cut strip of paper 1 x 6 1/4

4.   On the 6 1/4 side, score at 1/4 and 3 1/4

5.   Put tape on both sides of the 1/4" flap and lengthwise top and bottom edges on the back.

6.   Remove tape backing from sleeve, center between score lines and even with the top edge of the paper, stick down.

7.   Remove tape backing, fold strip over and stick down.

8.   Punch holes in pages.

9.   Make 10 inside pages using the sleeves. If using a 1/2" wire you may want to make 8 inside pages so they will fit a little more comfortably.

10.                Make 10 quote cards 2 5/8 x 5 3/4. I printed mine on the computer, but it would be just as lovely, maybe even better, if you hand write the quotes.

11. Follow the directions for your Bind-it-All and bind your book.

Enjoy!
Here's to keeping your history in a beautiful heirloom.
